hello. i decided to post a super short post today since i haven posted for a long long time.
today was bad. yes.
but i learned something new today. gladys and ame taught it to me. it's called the clothes theory. it really is good! haha. let me state it down.
take for example, if someone with really bad taste says that your clothes are nice, then you'll be like oh no my clothes are really ugly! so actually it's a good thing for the person to NOT like your clothes. yup(:
really useful. (: i recommend it to everyone to use it when you feel very yuan wang. yah (:
somehow, i need to research on my reason for serving. if it wasnt for the people, would i even be there? if it wasnt for the joy and sense of accomplishment i get when i see their smiles, would i even be there?

whee! today's sunday and 'twas fun! (:
okay, i shall blog about saturday. well, sat started with me talking to batch'08 about their planning of june camp and after that ora and banner painting. then we had kkmc fun day with kkmc youth. was brillant. really. at first i thought it would be quite boring, but the whole event proved me wrong. (:
haha so we were split into groups and i joined DR. NO! DR. NO is the ONE (group ONE and the best ONE you will ever see around. :D) well, group leader of dr no is ivan and he's really cool (see explanation at the later part) hmm so we started off with icebreakers. hahahaha. although all of us played the games before we still did have lots of fun; esp during curtain call. (:
yea, then proper games started. our first station was called "I love huckgummies". whoosh. sticky station indeed. not only were the gummies sticky, we had to use total eye and brain power to memorise the pattern then arrange the gummies. sticky situation eh? we were kinda stuck at some parts but overall wasnt too bad. :D
then nxt was spongebob inkpants. hehe. was supposed to pass a sponge covered with flour and soaked in water with your mouth down the group. hmm. okay, reason 1 why ivan is cool: he played when he didnt have to. yea. and the game was gross okay. eww. sponge dipped in water and flour-covered passed down the row and back. not really a good experience but was extremely fun cos you can see everyone jumping around and trying to spit out all the flour but gross. hahaha. now that i think of it, it's HILARIOUS. church camp shld try it someday. XD
okay, so after visiting spongebob inkpants, we went to see the smooth criminal next. whoosh. this is the dirtiest station ever. sliding your way across ground sheets filled with soapy detergent water on your tummy with a really small spoon in your mouth and your objective is to scoop the marbles with your spoon in your mouth. cool eh? okay so here's reason number 2 for why ivan is cool: he played! and once again he didnt need to. yea. i totally didnt play. haha. but if they had a showering slot scheduled i would have played. XD (pple who know me, are you reading this? *grins*) hahaha.
hmm. then games ended due to some prob. yup. LUNCH was next. (: kkmc catered for us! so good yea! felt rather bad about it. haha. lunch was yummy and everyone had the chance of talking to the kkmc youth. (:
then of course it was PRAISE AND WORSHIP! haha, michelle was worship leader and although she told us that she was really scared before that, she did extremely well. heh. (: and we being so nice batchmates sat in the first row especially for her! XD and well let's just say that the worship session felt like church ones so basically it's fantabulous.
next was devotion by brother eng hock. (is this how he spells his name?) anyway, his devotion topic was on friendship. really inspirational. when he asked me how many close frens i had, it really got me to ponder at that moment how many frens do i have that i would consider close. (: and his stories are really touching too. he's one of those speakers with charisma. :D
hahaha okay then it was the fun part. reuben (the mc) shared with us his life stories. amusing hilarious. yea (: really FUNKY. couldnt stop laughing. XD hahaha. then prize giving. LOL. our group won 2 stuff toys and they are really CUTE! :D love them all!
yea. so that mainly concludes the whole day. after that was jus cleaning up and some interaction before we went home. oh yea. i realised that some kkmc youth jus don look their age. the main i/c (i don know how to spell her name) of the day is 15! and she can jus pass off as a j1! haha then lionel can jus pass of as a 16. haha. ivan was telling me how he looks like a kid. (:
YUP. so that was basically my saturday with kkmc youth. was way beyond what i came expecting and really had lots and lots of fun. looking forward to april 7 then! (: as well as enrolment! :DSunday, November 19, 2006

okay, anw, since i blogged about cantata alr. i shall briefly go through all the stuff that happened these full months. well of course the pts and eoys were over, but the best thing was, WE WON NETBALL CARN! hahaha. LOVE MY CLASS! haha, but i was really nervous during the games. was so scared that the person defending me has a violent streak or something. hehe.
okay, then there was CLASS CHALET. hahaha. found out that yikai is scared of listening to ghost stories! *laughs* way unexpected. then we celebrated YAN's birthday. haha.
yup, that's the 2 major class things i guess. oh and well of course all the various class outings. (:7:57 PM
whoa! i finally found the time to blog. *pats myself on the back and beams real wide*
anyway, cantata was yesterday! i tell you, we rawk. (: haha. it was wonderful. seeing those pple out there, watching our musical and hearing the gospel, it was really brillant. I don't know how much it impacted others, but at least they had the chance! and even though the play wasnt perfect, it was really the best given the amount of time we had!!
hmm, in the morning, woah. everyone came in really comfy wear! hahaha. but they just forgot that roll call cant be done in slippers!!! yea, so many did barefooted. so amusing to see that. i love love love 45TH!
okay then came all the tech run and i stuck all the candy canes!! although alicia laughed at me for sticking them the wrong way at first (not my fault okay, i was too engrossed in others matters), but it was FINALLY DONE! there were arnd 400 booklets, i was positive that i was going blind, considering the ks chee was so dark. yea.
yup, then when to settle the shirts with HILARY! hil jus rawks!!!lol. but serious. then finally came the afternoon show. we were rather unprepared as we were behind time. and i was rushing arnd like a mad person trying to settle last minute stuff like $$ hahaha. oh and i went to cut leaves off random trees in the sch cos our leaves were dried up alr. :D
afternoon show was okay i suppose, just small accidents here and there. then it was finally the NIGHT SHOW. gosh, i was nervous like crazy for the night one. cos the tickets sale was full house. but then... ELAINE AND YAN AND YIKAI cheated my feelings.. say they would come then didnt come. haha. but denise, isa, bocky and of course the all-so-ego jinning came! (:
yet, the best part was...... the SENIORS! haha. like senior xinyee who is in uni came! haha, although with HER senior whom is really ancient. gosh. but the more recent seniors are like '05 trinity, '06 trinity and charissa. oh and also most of batch'06 turned up! (: seniors rawk.
heh, then nat camp plt mates came too! tgther with sir. haha. courtesy of alicia! who went ALL THE WAY to invite them. (ps. but i paid for their tickets first, haha.) hmm. yup, but then donovan the jonovan didnt turn up. tsk. haha, and they were nice enough to wait for me after cantata. (:
we really had a wonderful time! haha. and JUDITH was soooo cute! although she made me soooo red in the face can. haha. but she was JUST SO CUTE!!! haha. along with zhen er's brother. hahahahahaha, i think zhen er's brother is scared of me now. cos i kept telling him how cute he was and in the end he ran to zhen er. lol. ahhh, but basically, all the little kids were so adorable!
and of course, the sec 4 seniors must be thanked profusely. michelle, margie, val, lianne, charissa and hilary. they simply are the best! (: ESP michelle who was the assistant stage manager. without her right, i think i would have fainted. haha, okay, maybe not that exaggerated. but it's there lah, she really really is the very very very nice senior (: hehe. all in all, i love my seniors! haiz

argh. okay. shall blog about my wed and thurs.
had bio extra classes on wed. sigh. as usual, mr tee gave us his usual lecture lah. ): and then there is this girl from alicia's class who is SO WEIRD. i mean, the ppt slides are okay! tsk. and mr tee was so nice okay, changing the colours of the ppt for her. LOL everyone can see loh, don know why she cannot see. i think she makes the weirdest comment. -.-'' if his ppt turns to black and white, it's her fault. tsk. and mr tee sounded really disappointed too. BLEH. XD
haha. then we had nat camp plt online crapping session at night! hahaha. yea. (: LOL i pity jonovan loh, they tease him so much. hehehehehe. but it was rather fun watching. (: then there was eugene&jonovan's funny camp song. hahaha. eugene and alicia were like doing a duet! eugene started off with one line then alicia continued. hahaha, though i want to ask "alicia when did you betray gb and join the ncc youths!!" was so funny, chin boon sir couldnt take it, cos the "ncc youths", as they called themselves, were insulting the BB.
WHEE okay thurs. (: went to assisi home and hospice. the kids were cute! haha. the old folks were pretty nice too. we played monopoly with them for an hour plus. wahh, it was pretty tiring speaking so much dialect. then i went over to the kids section and celebrated Leo's (the little boy) birthday! so cool! haha. then i saw this really really really really really CUTE LITTLE BOY!!!!! hahaha. he wore a red cap and looks really cute in it! XD
okay then left the centre and went to j8 to go home! haha, but bought a sock for my mp3. hehe. my first present for myself this holz! (: although very small but still very happy. LOL. and guess what, it's GREEN BLACK WHITE in colour. wahahaha, so loyal to RAFFLES right? (: hmm, when i first entered rg, thought green black white as sch colours was a really funny combi, but now i think it RAWKS. whee! RAFFLES ICHIBAN! (:

lol. today's so boring. there's absolutely nothing interesting to do at home! arghh.. hate it. blehh. today's agenda was to study acids bases salts so that i can do my chem pt. but progress is so excruciatingly slowwwww..
and im blogging cos i have nth else to do to entertain myself. argh. i have even swapped phones with my bro! this shows the extent of my boredom. ): and im starting to feel stony.. ):

PLATOON OUTING! whee! (: lol. love love echo platoon1! (: and my batch too! (:
okay, so after tchers day, i chiong down to sthildas! (: whee. saw mr koh, mr soong, and chen lao shi! lol, mr soong got so much white hair now loh. XD and saw quite a few of my primary school classmates: jourdan, joy, chuan yi, jeremy tan, jeremy yap, michelle wong, huikiat! lol. hopefully i didnt miss out any. yea. hahaha. all of them look so grown up now, compared to the last time! and i managed to talk abit to everyone, except for huikiat! i realised i didnt get to say a HELLO to him at all. i jus SAW him and then left. lol. but he looks the same, jus that more mature. eh. hmm.
waited at sthildas for marcus to come.. his sch ended so late. was supposed to reach lido by 1, but then we were still at shps at 12.40. LOL. (: ahh. then actually wanted to cab down, but then jonathan sir said take our time, so we decided to not waste money to cab. (: yea. oh and i realised marcus has this really cool apple strap thing! XD haha. yea, so both of us arrived fashionably late (tsk marcus. all your sch's fault), although we were in time for the movie. yup, so then we bought tickets for monster house! hahaha. then we drew tickets. (: at first was sitting beside eugene and sir, but then we changed it, hehe, cos i don really like my sitting! XD so yea, sat beside marcus and cher-e then. haha. then me and cher-e started being lame.
this is what happened: me and cher-e started a "let's get to know each other session" and we started talking like weirdos! and the whole plt started to "not know" us. heh. but it entertained our plt okay! lol. but plt was so funny during the movie. keep saying i can be like the girl riding tricycle.
lol, so after the movie, we went to esplanade. to take photos. how cool right. so we slacked inside the esplanade (got air con), yup, and we took photos! yea. and alicia and i provided entertainment by reacting the whole batch tcher's day skit! (: we rawk. hahahaha. though it was really LAME. yea, so we chatted there until arnd 6? haha. then we walked to bugis to have dinner. (: yea, then after dinner we went home. lol, our platoon got alot of pple living in the east! got me, chin boon sir, eugene and marcus. haha. although marcus doesnt really stay very in the east. i would consider it more centralised. (:
